This can be a complaint against an Ontario or local government officer and/or a government agency. This can also be against an individual and/or a business registers in Ontario. The OHRT is governed by the Ontario Human Rights Code R.S.O. 1990.
The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal – CHRT hears all matters involving human rights in Canada, which are at the federal level. This can be a complaint against a Federal government officer and/or a government agency. This can also be against an individual and/or a business that is considered federal jurisdiction. The CHRT is governed by the Canadian Human Rights Act R.S.C., 1985, c. H-6.
